Note MeHi everyone!
It was a busy week and I didn't have much free time... I wouldn't mind but some days ago I started a new drawing and one of the few things I hate is leaving it incomplete for too long; when I start something I must dedicate every single moment to it until i finish the work. In this case it seems quite impossible but I hope I will finish it next week. Until then, I decided to dedicate this journal entry to EXTREME REALISM.
P.S: I want to thank all of my new watchers... I would thank you one by one but as I said, time is lacking. Thank you for your support.
Impossible is Nothing

Long before the daguerreotype process was invented, realism became the absolute aim of Art. During the centuries artists tried to improve their techniques to reach a higher level of realism through a careful observation of nature. When photography was invented, Art became useless and artists had to change something in order to keep living from their works; realism was not required anymore and that's how they decided to focus their attention on COMMUNICATION of feelings, emotions, thoughts. That's how Modern Art was born. Most of artists started to ignore realism and they destroyed the Academic rules of proportions and perspective. We were all afraid that the great skill required to create a realistic artwork was going to be forgotten but fortunately it survived and it was improved by some great artists.
Some of those modern Art crusaders brought realism to a whole new level and we are lucky enough to find few of them on this wonderful site. I hope you will enjoy their works as I did
